Sometimes you need a good page turner, other times you need a sweet story in the background while you get on with your stuff. this was a lovely, listenable background book to listen to. It didn't matter if you missed a bit because it was a predictable midday movie story line. Nice mix of characters and lots of openings left for another story.

Very Sweet

This is the first book I have read/listened to by this author. I quickly became thoroughly invested in the lives of the Harper's girls. Their ups and downs, tragedies and happy times. And I have already downloaded the second book on the series.

A nice easy listen

great listen by this author, the characters were lovely as well as their antics that they get up to. The narrator was very good at using different voices for the characters.

So many stories within this book. Great characters, surprising twists, my Dads uncle went down with the Titanic, imagine my surprise to find a small inclusion of the disaster! Can’t wait to read the next one.

A nice easy story. I thought the narrator had a lovely voice and performed the accents well but the voice of Maggie and at times Beth were far too quiet to be audible. This spoilt the book for me.

I wish it could have gone on for longer. I only started listening to this to have some kind of background noise but I got hooked quickly.

I enjoyed both the story and the narration. I looked forward to each chapter and discovered that the time flew by while I was listening.
