About this listen

This delightful Broadway hit chronicles three Jewish sisters from Brooklyn as they gather in London to celebrate a birthday: a brilliant banker who has given up on romance, a suburban mother who moonlights as a radio talk show host, and a travel writer who wants to write her serious book. Perfomed by a full cast starring Jamie Lee Curtis and JoBeth Williams.(P)2000 L.A. Theatre Works, All Rights Reserved Drama & Plays United States World Literature

Editor reviews

This is the first performance from L.A. Theatre Works that I have listened to since we added the well-regarded producer of audio drama. (I quickly moved on to a second.) After years of digesting audiobooks and tons of NPR, I enjoyed the change of pace of an audio play. The Sisters Rosensweig features the familiar voices of Jamie Lee Curtis, Tony Roberts, and JoBeth Williams, and the flawless script of Pulitzer Prize-winner Wendy Wasserstein. (Teresa C.)
