About this listen
God has fallen and the Devil is dead. Heaven, once paradise, now lies crumbling, ruinous and infested. It is a vile nest for an ancient evil that has its sights set on humanity.
Only Death, and the peculiar band of souls that he has managed to smuggle to safety, are left to resist this threat. Can a marine commander, a samurai, a thief, and an axe-wielding highland warrior succeed where both God and Lucifer failed?
Can Death finally find redemption for the most ancient of all sins?
©2018 Nicholas Carey (P)2018 Nicholas CareyThis was a very interesting story and I loved all the elements including the characters who were very believable, interesting and interacted well between each other, the action was good and there was a nice pace.
My only grip is that the story was a bit too short for my liking; I would have loved a bit more of everything. Nicholas Carey is relatively new writer so he might start doing bigger books in the future. He is a name I’m going to keep an eye on for future releases.
Christopher Graybill did a great performance with the narration of this audible book.
