Summary
The guardians were created for protection, but they were used in the past to protect a power-hungry vampire. Made of stone, they're all impervious to harm, but their hearts can still be broken. All three books surround the same faction of gargoyles, but each highlights a different fated mate couple. Each book can be listened to as a stand-alone but best enjoyed as a paranormal romance series.
Book One: Stone Under Skin
Book Two: Blood Beneath Stone
Book Three: Stone Hearts

Gargoyles for the win!
This is so far my only experience listening to gargoyle stories, and, though I was not sure what to expect, I must admit I enjoyed it very much. Action, fated pairs, perils, brethren and unlikely allies, this series has everything to keep the listener entertained!
Good performance from narrator Allen Jeffreys, who’s scratchy voice is perfect for these supernatural creatures, be they gargoyles, vampires or dark Watchers.

What a steal, three brilliant book for one credit.
I loved this book as it had another battle to fight and showed that certain couples were living a human life and were happy. Would Aasim and Jashik have that in-depth happiness that others like Ankit have?
This series of books are different to anything I've ever read, and I've thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy.
Well written, great world-building, solid characters and story — and a HEA.
The narration from Allen Jeffries was clear and easy to listen to. Although, As usual, I sped up the audio, and I listened at 1.45 speed on audible, but I prefer all my audios to be quicker.

Enthralling
The author created a fantastical tale that enticed me to keep wanting to listen to the next book in the bundle. The gargoyles vampires a human and watchers are wonderfully crafted and the mc's in each book are worth it to join them on their journey to gibd a live that is more than to protect. Love is found and battles are fought and good prevales for now, at the end.
This was an extensive listen, but the narrator kept me engaged throughout the bundle. Some of the voices he created had tto grow on me for a bit. But they did make sense for the character forms/ nature.
I listened to the book at speed 1,05 .

An amazing story and performance
I loved this series! I've been a huge gargoyle fan since watching the Disney animated series from the 90s and being an m/m fan made reading and the listening to this a no brainer. At the beginning, the gargoyles in this series are so lonely it will break your heart. They've been forced into service and no longer know how to have a life of their own. As the series progresses, we see them free themselves and find their mates but in the final book, all is nearly lost and they have to fight one more battle to hold on to those they've come to love. After every book, I'd say that it was my favorite, lol, but now having read and listened to them all, I'm not sure. I loved the first book Stone Under Skin because it is where we are introduced to the gargoyles and their world and because Ankit's and Ethan's story begins with the hurt/comfort trope which is one of my favorites. I couldn't wait to read Blood Beneath Stone because it had a gargoyle finding a mate in a vampire, two who should clearly have been the ultimate in enemies. The third book was great for the final battle for our heroes and to see Aasim and Jashik learn to believe that this new reality with love for each other was possible. Highly recommended series, grab all three in the boxed set and settle in for an amazing story. Allen Jeffries gives a wonderful performance here. I thought the first story was heartbreaking when I read it, but hearing the loneliness brought to life in this performance was even more painful. Then, in the third book we can hear the hope that Aasin and Jashik feel and their amazement that they might actually get what they want in Jeffries voice. Don't miss this one!
