About this listen

The Story of a Soul conveys St. Therese of Lisieux's "Little Way" of spiritual childhood - her "elevator" to Heaven, as she called it. This method was approved by Pope Pius XI as a way for all to grow in holiness through unfailing confidence and childlike delight in God's merciful love.

Again and again in this audiobook, St. Therese shows us how her "Little Way" of love and trust comes straight from Sacred Scripture.

This audiobook belongs in every Catholic home, for Pope St. Pius X called St. Therese of Lisieux the "greatest Saint of modern times".

I purchased this book because I couldn’t understand from my research what extra quality St Thérèse had to make her a saint.
After reading this book In her own words, I cannot believe that such a beautiful soul could even exist.
She has inspired me so much and if only once I could follow her little ways and thoughts, I will be happy.
Only by reading this book will you know what real love is.

One is struck by how well Therese knew the Bible. Although her writing has been described as child-like, she continuously illustrates her points with scriptural references from throughout the Bible.

Simple but profound wisdom

Best read over a long period and pondered over intently, to hear the words of such a beautiful Saint is truly a privilege.
