Great story with perfect amount of cliché

The story was great. It does contain quite a few clichés for an coming of age story but managed to put its own twist to them.

The story line reminded of Stranger Things with its mystery of the power and the ominous corporation working in the background.

In my opinion a great book to listen to!

Kept me going, but lacked depth.

I enjoyed the premise of this story, and the background of two strangers meeting, mingled with some 'magic' problems along the way, however I felt some of thr story lacked depth, and we did not see the true 'potential' of the characters.

This would make a good introductory book to a trilogy, where the main protagonists are able to explore and use their 'powers' more and more depth and substance to their relationship, however as a standalone book it left me slightly underwhelming, and the ending was 100% predictable.

Still a decent read, and a good teen/young adult LGBT/coming out story; but not by any means a 'best in genre'.

Melodrama and epic stupidity

The protagonist's choices are those of a ten-year-old, and irritating as that is, it's all compounded by the absurdly melodramatic reading.

Very entertaining…

I loved this book, and the voice omg, he’s good. However, it kept jumping chapters right before it got juicy… 😭😭😭
