About this listen

Winner of the British Book Awards, Lifetime Achievement Award, 2007.

An eccentric, reclusive billionaire looking for a way to die, a burnt-out Washington litigator just out of rehab for the fourth time, and a woman who left the modern world to live and work with a primitive tribe of Indians in the jungles of Brazil. They are all brought together by the startling secret of The Testament.

Narration good though I wasn’t entirely convinced by the depiction of Josh.
Story: wasn’t happy that the miserable offspring who had already gone through huge sums of money, managed to get more vast sums to waste.

Overall : Generally interesting story.

A good story and an acceptable reader. However, the occasional bits of music, which at times threatened to overwhelm the narrator, spoiled it for me.
