Summary
From the author of the Wicked Bay series, comes an angsty YA/NA enemies-to-lovers romance. Cocky football players, school rivalry, and the girls who get in their way. Get ready...the Raiders are coming!
Hailee Raine only has to survive one more year. One year of life in her football obsessed town. One year of nauseating school spirit. Just one more year of her cruel step-brother Jason; and his cocky, arrogant, football-playing friends.
She hates them. Especially, Cameron Chase, the guy she thought was different.
Cameron Chase has the world at his feet. He has it all; good looks, talent, and the charm to go with it. He has colleges lined up at the door, all wanting a piece of Rixon Raiders star wide receiver. Until something threatens everything he's ever worked for, and only one person can quiet the war raging inside him. But he's supposed to hate her; his best friend's sister.
She's off-limits. Untouchable. She's trouble with a capital T.
Then Hailee finds herself in the middle of a football prank gone wrong...and suddenly hating each other never felt so good.
The Trouble with You is the first book in The Rixon Raiders series. All books in this series can be listened to as stand-alones!

My Thoughts on The Trouble with You
Take two amazing narrators, combine them with a fantastic author and you get audiobook magic.
Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross are two of my favorite narrators, I love their voices, so I had an expectation I'd like the performance. And as usual they brought their A-game. I had no complaints and only praise for what I heard. But it was also the words written by L.A. Cotton for them to read that added to the enjoyment.
This is my first book by this author, and boy am I disappointed that I've been missing out for so long. She gave me emotion and characters I could connect with and so much angst. She gave me a plot that was easy and exciting to follow and twists that kept things interesting from start to finish.
Overall this audiobook checked all my boxes. I can't wait for book two in this series and plan to listen to more from these narrators in the future.

Great storyline
This book has a number of issues that it takes on, bullying, sexism and general high school attitudes to tolerate. Fantastic performance from both Sarah and Wen. They both give personalities to these characters.

Sarah and Wen, Oh Yah!
This book satisfied so many type of books that I love to read. Sports, My brother's best friend, enemies to lovers all in one book. I was glad it was't a step brother romance because I had a love hate relationship with Jason. I felt the same way with Hailee's best friend Felicity, I loved the chemistry between Chase and Hailee you can feel it with every word. I love Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross together, can't wait to hear more from the both of them.

Enemies-To-Lovers Sports Romance
The Trouble With You By L.A. Cotton is a YA/NA enemies-to-lovers sports romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross. All I can say is Wow! This is an amazing book and I cannot wait until book two is released. Lianne did an amazing job with the characters. I just had to know how the story was going to end.
Sarah and Wen were absolutely amazing duo on this. I just love Sarah she has a voice that just pulls you into the storyline. This is the first audio book I have heard with Wen and I absolutely loved his deep gruff voice.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Young Adult, Enemies-To-Lovers Romance, or Sports Romance.

Trouble is Everything
Hailee has to make it through her senior year with her stepbrother the football god. He has hated Hailee since her mother married his father and has made her life hell. Along with his best friend Cameron. This will be the craziest and hardest year due to rivalries and the craziness of high school kids. This book has all the angst and drama that you want and then some. Great Narration.

What A Great Story!
The Trouble With You is a very good, young adult, bully, step siblings, angsty story. The story flows very well, and it has lots of drama and emotion. These Rixon Boys wil draw you into their stories whether you want to be there or not. The narrators did a great job with the story, and bringing the characters to life for me. This is a good one to listen too!

Life is too short!
LA Cotton's The Trouble with You is an angsty, teenage, coming of age romance that had me from the first chapter. I thought at first it was going to be your typical high school sports story, but there is so much more to this. Melded family siblings Jason and Hailee hate each other. For years now, these two will stop at nothing to top the other's nastiness. But now, seniors in high school things are about to change. Cameron, Jason's best friend, is looking out for Hailee. His feelings for her have grown, but she is off limits. Can he keep her there? Time will tell on that, but as we get further into this story, there is so many facets we become involved in. We have infidelity, illness, responsibility, decision making, all the things that make up life and we feel it through the eyes of 18 year olds. How it effected me? I was completely invested in every emotion, felt their pain, their joy, their frustration and their love. It's a love story, but more importantly, it's a life story. I really enjoyed this.
Wen Ross and Sarah Puckett give an amazing performance. Each brings their voices to the table with impassioned tugs and heartfelt emotion. They pulled me in with every inflection and kept me riveted til the end. I loved it and can't wait for the next book.

Loved it
Depsite Cameron being a total jerk in the beginning he redeemed himself and he and Hailey are just too cute! I loved how the author had him redeem himself and made him work for it. Great sports romance

Really Enjoyed This Novel, Hate-to-Love Story ❤❤
I got great enjoyment from listening to this audiobook; "The Trouble With You," (Rixon Raiders Series Book #1) written by L. A. Cotton. The storyline was strong, exciting, and had good backbone to it. It was written with Young Adults in mind, but I'm a follower in the age group of 56-65yo, and I found it enjoyable.
The two main characters have pretty much hated each other since 7th grade because of her stepbrother and here they were in senior high year and a lot of changes was going on, and the two were again at the frontlines of these changes.
Our narrators Sarah Puckett and Wen Ross were Extraordinary, Exhilarating, and then some, I love this duet. When they work together, you know they will have EXPLOSIVE Chemistry, do an AMAZING job and give the Very BEST the author wants for their book to take flight & fly up the audiobook charts.
I recommend this audiobook to others; for sure, you won't be disappointed.
