Summary

Nancy Warren presents Books 4-6 in the Vampire Knitting Club series.

Lucy Swift's adventures continue in Oxford, England, as she still struggles to knit, tries to make sense of her witch powers, and manage the late night vampire knitting club with her neighbors who live beneath her knitting shop. Great story for autumn

The story is great. The narrator has a lovely voice when she’s doing the American bits. Perhaps it would have been better to have a British actress that could do one American accent Rather than an American that mangles English ones. There are so many different British and Australian characters in the series and they all sound absolutely dreadful. But if you can forgive that, the storytelling is great with Interesting characters and ideas.

Great stories Terrible accents

I love these books but the narrator is awful
He British accent changes from Australian to Irish and everything in between
In one book she attempts a Birmingham accent which is cringe worthy
Such a shame as the stories and the characters as brilliant

lovely and carefree

I love this series. The accents leave a lot to be desired but the Welsh... good grief. It was comical if nothing else. The voice actor otherwise is very easy listening and the series is very enjoyable. Everything is lovely, very cute, innocent entertainment.

Stories good, English accents are terrible

Story’s are good. Getting a little repetitive, which is a tad irritating.
The British / Australian accents are absolutely awful! They swap continents mid sentence.

Set in England, Author clueless about England

I like the general storyline but the author’s lack of knowledge about England makes it harder and harder to continue with the series. So many glaring mistakes, from student loans to how people are paid in the U.K. The narrator is awful with accents which just makes a bigger mess.

I wish the author had set the story in her own country… or done some rudimentary research.
