Summary

Mila and her sisters live with their brother, Oskar, in a small forest cabin in the snow. One night, a fur-clad stranger arrives seeking shelter for himself and his men. But by the next morning, they've gone, taking Oskar with them. Fearful for his safety, Mila and her sisters set out to bring Oskar back - even if it means going north, crossing wild and frozen lands to find a way past an eternal winter.

Sisters are doing it for themselves

I listened to this book on Audible. The narration was excellent and really brought the story to life. The story itself was quite a simple one. Two brave young sisters on a winter adventure through a bitterly cold forest, on a mission to rescue their brother, with a sinister creature not far behind them trying to capture fhem. A Winter Folktale with a hint of magic.
