Is this terrible or a future classic?

This sounds more like an episode of Dragnet, (remember that?), than anything written by Wilkie Collins. The cast sound like they are all completely bananas and the production is a mess, but it has a certain strange charm and I can't complain about the price.

I suspect this is more terrible than cult classic but I'm just putting this out there in case anybody disagrees!
