Summary
For more than a century, The Wind in the Willows and its endearing protagonists have enchanted children of all ages. Whether the four friends are setting forth on an exciting adventure, engaging in a comic caper, or simply relaxing by the River Thames, their stories are among the most charming in all English literature. Alternately slow-moving and fast-paced, the novel is notable for its mixture of mysticism, adventure, morality, and camaraderie and is celebrated for its evocation of the pastoral nature of the Thames valley.

One of the best narrations!
This version of the Wind In The Willows reminds me of a double cassette I used to have years ago in the mid 80s narrated by Sean Barrett on the Ditto Pickwick label that I got in WELLWORTHS, this is a great version and the narrator has an excellent soothing voice, exactly perfect for The Wind In The Willows.

It helps that the narrator has such a charming voice!

BRILLIANTLY READ.
EXCELLENT VOICES! BRILLIANTLY READ. I can't imagine a better audio version of this wonderful book (although my son was disappointed that the narrator didn't sing the songs, but just read them). But anyway, really this is the best audiobook of Wind in the Willows. Highly recommended.
