It got a bit bizarre

I was wondering where the author was going to go with all the Alice in wonderland stuff she introduced in the past 3 or 4 books but it sort of worked. Just go with it. The narrator was excellent as always.

a nice twist to end the series

Seth is an interesting character and it's good seeing his narrative develop. Now Gus's turn

A Surprise Extra Story

I really enjoyed diving in to some of the other characters in this final installment of the Ministry of Curiosities. I didn't want this series to end, it's been my favourite C J Archer series of them all, but all good things come to an end, and this was pretty perfect at wrapping up all the loose ends.

Disappointing

The storyline was such a disappointment. I thought it was farcical and childish. I just felt the author seemed like she'd ran out of ideas.
