Summary
Eddie 'The Beast' Hall presents The World’s Strongest Audiobook, an Original Audiobook Production by W F Howes.
Go behind the scenes with Eddie as we follow his incredible journey from World's Strongest Man to competing in 'The Heaviest Boxing Match in History’, featuring training diaries, 10 rounds of mental preparation and documentary clips. You’ll hear exclusive podcast style interviews with iconic friends including Ross Edgley, James Haskell, Paddy McGuinness, his family and inner circle. Listen to Eddie as you never heard him before: 100 per cent authentic, honest and raw.
In 2017 Eddie Hall became the World's Strongest Man. He was the first person to pull half a tonne off the floor when everybody else said it was impossible, setting a new World Record. Impossible is a recurring theme in Eddie's life—from the streets of Stoke-on-Trent to the pinnacle of Strongman—at every step on his journey he has blasted through the obstacles in his way. In The World's Strongest Audiobook, Eddie brings you into the heart of his training camp as he prepares for his greatest challenge yet—a boxing ring showdown with his nemesis, Hafthor Bjornsson. Witness Eddie's two-year journey as he transforms his body and mind from strength athlete to titan weight boxer. Affording the listener ringside access to Eddie's formidable mindset, he reflects on the lessons he's learned over the course of his life and draws on them to overcome each new setback, from injuries and illness to uncertainty and grief. Eddie explains how the journey changed him in unvarnished interviews and post-fight reflections.
When faced with the choice of fight or flight, Eddie chooses to fight.
With Eddie as your guide and inspiration, you'll have the courage and the confidence to stand up and handle whatever life throws at you.
Please note: contains frequent strong language and adult themes.

Great and inspiring Audiobook
This is a really great audiobook from Eddie Hall! Following the fight against Thor.
I really enjoyed hearing about the preparation and hearing the interviews with Ross, James and Paddy.
It was good to hear more about Alex and how she helped Eddies career so much.
Maybe it could have been more comprehensive in some parts and covered more detail, but overall still great and inspiring.

Relatable.
I loved the parts where Eddie told his story but the extra didn't really have much although I did enjoy them and I can see why he added them for context. a little repetitive in places but again I get the point he was trying to make. overall I enjoyed it and will listen again. well done Eddie.

feels more like a podcast
enjoyed this but it definitely feels like more of a podcast. the whole boxing bit I found a little boring as we all know what happened but there was a lot around that to like including more insights to Eddie's private life and a large section on mental health which I thought was really good. Well worth a listen

Eddie is a legend but…
Eddie is a legend but…
This book repeats itself over and over with the same information and stories that we as fans have heard again and again.
The music interferes with the flow and the little audio clips of hitting boxing pads are quite annoying.
I also don’t understand why the talks with Ross, Paddy & James are included in their full at the end, when most of their content is used throughout the book (which I really liked).
Still a fan and always will be Eddie!

What a bloke!
What a bloke and what a story! That's some commitment you've got to have to keep going day after day! I have had Eddie as one of my role models for a while now, finding out a few years ago that the world's strongest man has also suffered mental health problems made little old me feel a lot better about myself, and who knows could of saved me from doing something stupid! It is a lot better listening to your story with you narrating it this time around.
I have the pleasure of knowing Eddie when we were in high school, and even back then you could see he was a cut above the rest! The bloke is exactly what you see, some love him and some hate him, if you hate him then you can f off in his eyes, I wish I had that level of confidence because it's the way it should be!
The 2016 interview with Alex definitely brought a lump to my throat! It's refreshing to see the pair of you on your YouTube videos.
If you're reading this Eddie then I owe you a huge thanks for picking me up from one of the lowest lows I've had, I've wanted to message you to say it but my thanks is by leaving you to carry on with your day. Keep on being you Eddie! Much love - Coco.

Good insights
The overall content of the book was good and is well worth a listen but I just feel like it was never proof read by anyone before it was released. There were parts of the book that were repeated nearly word for word, obviously where they were looking to go down two different routes with the same story or piece of advice
Audio clips were also repeated a lot from the interviews with friends and then to hear them in full at the end almost seems a bt pointless as the book covers most of the conversations has
Overall it's very good and I'd reccommend it, I just think its needs a final polish
