About this listen
Lucia Vega is on a winning streak. Her book, Throw Away the Key, has taken the country by storm, and now, it's being made into a movie. After years of chasing it, she can finally taste freedom.
Reece Carras is one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. Handsome, rich, and generous, he's everything girls like her aren't supposed to dream of. But dream she does. And in his strong arms, she finds a freedom she never even knew existed.
Falling in love was the easy part. Cruel twists of fate and torn loyalties will make staying together seem impossible. Sacrifices will have to be made. And they will learn that blood may be thicker than water, but nothing is more powerful than two hearts that beat for each other.
Contains mature themes.

Moving 💗
I liked the story, and the characters. and how the immigration topic is delivered into such a nice story filled with many emotions that can be heartbreaking at times, but it's what makes the book really good.
As for the narrattion Lacy Laurel was so great as Lucia, and her male voice is excellent. Sean Crisden as Reece was good. Both of then made the book so much better, with their narrattion.

A great story.x
Lucia and Reece are from different worlds but events from the past bring them together with so much passion in everything they do. This story was so well written and I got fully immersed. I will be looking for more Dylan Allen books to read/listen to as I really enjoyed it.
Sean Crisden as Reece was great his voice is so easy to listen to and he did such a good job. Lacy Laurel is one of my new favourites her voice is just amazing I could listen to her all day. They are a great pick for the characters and they sold the story for me. A very good story you should give it a go.x

Perfect!
I love the book itself so much and connected with the characters and their struggles. My love for them was beyond and hearing their voice just brought that to a new level. Both narrators were perfect for this story and I couldn’t imagine anyone else being the voices. It was perfectly executed.

Brilliant!
Thicker Than Water has an interesting and powerful storyline that is gripping and heartfelt. It’s a friends to lovers, slow burn read with exciting twists and turns. I love the chemistry between Lucia and Reece, they are great characters full of strength and conviction and their sexy scenes are HOT. It’s the first book I’ve read by Dylan Allen but it won’t be the last. I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed!
