Whilst the topics covered in this book are interesting, I found it very difficult to maintain concentration due to the apparently disconnected narration. The intonation used often jarred against what was being said- the book was being read line by line with intonation on each line in isolation rather than as a whole. Where different personas were covered in a passage, the narrator used the same voice making it even more difficult to follow.

I love factual books about the brain and psychology and have listened to many with great interest but this one I found my thoughts drifted frequently with lack of engagement.

A book probably best read rather than listened to.

in-depth information with an extremely detailed view and research data on a broad range of subjects referencing the mind. impressed with the level of detail and explanation allowing non experienced readers the capability to understand what I would consider topics for qualified people.
