About this listen
For almost two years now, Kiera’s boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she’s ever wanted: loving, tender, and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together - Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university - everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.
Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source - a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he’s purely a friend she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes... and none of them will ever be the same.

What did you like best about Thoughtless? What did you like least?
Ok, So I haven't actually finished this book yet but just could not wait any longer to write this review. I honestly can not say what it is that I like best about this book but that's just because I'm actually not sure if I liked it at all, let me tell you why, within the first 6 chapters of this book I literally went through every single emotion you can think of and they were all directed at Kiera and they continued to hold strong throughout the rest of the book. There are literally no words for how selfish this girl is, I could not image ever putting 2 guys though what she did and to still have this attitude that it was all about her was beyond ridiculous and selfish.
SC Stephens honestly has a amazing way of sucking you into the emotions of all the characters and I have to say that because of this I was unable to stop listening to the book.
Would you be willing to try another book from S. C. Stephens? Why or why not?
I am really not sure if I would listen another book by SC Stephens as I still unsure how I feel about this book on a whole. I do think that SC Stephens is a great written solely because of what his writing brings out emotionally, but it will definitely take some time to come down of the extreme emotionally rollcoaster of feelings this book inspired for one character.Which scene did you most enjoy?
Enjoy is not the word I would use but the scene that struck with me the most is the one with Kellan and Kiera at pete's where Kellan confront kiera about her telling Denny that she would go to Australia with him. The fact that she had the front to try and justify and explain her actions gave me the strongest urge to what to punch her in the face. SELFISH was not the way to describe her anymore it was way beyond that. Kellan was way to good for her and I have never wanted someone to end up more miserable and alone than I did with Kiera. Was Thoughtless worth the listening time?
I'm at 50/50 with this right now.Any additional comments?
I have to give praise to SC Stephens for his excellent way of drawing you in to his writing in so many different ways I have to say it takes a very talented writer to make you wish the characters in a book are real people so you could physical talk some sense into them or maybe in flat punch them in the face. so for that I truly thank youFar beyond Thoughtless!!!!!

It's not a book where the pages are red hot, this is a love story pure and simple. Thoughtless is book one of a trilogy and worth picking up!
Excellent story shame about the person reading it!

I accept Kira is an irritating protagonist, but she is immature, and you will most likely hate her in Thoughtless, I did. However, her character develops in Reckless and Effortless, both of which are great books and get better reviews. you'll also learn about Kellan's back story, too.
If you don't like angst, cheating, or rock star romance books, then these books are not for you, but it doesn't make it a bad book.
My negative opinions about this book are that S. C. Stephen's points out too many times that Kira is easily embarrassed about sex and crude language. I'm guessing the author is trying to demonstrate to the reader/listener just how naive Kira is, but it does start to rub you up the wrong way after a while, but I chose to ignore it.
Also, I'm not a big fan of the narrator, but it's tolerable. I just wish whoever chooses the narrators for these books chose better sometimes.
Give it a go. it might be the best romance book you've read, too.
Best rock star, romance books that I've read.
