Back on form
The story moved quickly, Joe and his family were admirable as usual, and the crimes were gruesome. It was sad too. And the stage is well set for the next instalment. Can’t wait.

No conscience killers
This novel sucks you in from the beginning, then whacks you sideways when least expected! It has convinced me never to visit the modern, truly Wild West!
