Summary
Senlis is your typical artist. Empath, hater of mornings, and the bearer of a strange name passed down from her grandmother. With a penchant for caffeine and a pet ghost, she's just trying to live her best life.
Did she mention she also happens to devour souls? No? Well, it's a bit of a conversation killer...no pun intended.
When new neighbors move in across the street, Senlis strikes up an unexpected friendship with the equally quirky Katie. The two get mixed up in a party circuit that leaves a string of missing girls - and a trail back to Senlis' less-than-human origins. At the center of it all is Hunter: a guy not smart enough to keep his distance. He's arrogant, frustrating, and terribly distracting.... Just please don't tell anyone she admitted that last part.
Is Hunter involved in the mysterious murders? Or is he just in the wrong place at the right time?
As she tries to figure out Hunter's motives, Senlis ends up learning what it means to be a Nephilim and how her past is playing a role in the murders. Time to Wake is a new-adult paranormal romance novel brimming with paranormal suspense and quirky laughs!

I loved this book so much! This is my first book by this author and I am about to see what 3lw3 there is! Narration was perfect. Usually I prefer more steaminess in the books I read but this is one that you could see there was passion and the story was so great you didn't need the extra steaminess. I always like new spins on paranormal and I like how the author went with everything. Highly recommend.

Unique and exciting paranormal suspense & romance!
What an interesting audiobook! I was not sure about the story to begin with. The main character, Senlis, is an artist, sensitive and a bit odd. After all she appears to have a pet ghost and, after befriending her teenage neighbour, seems to be surrounded by strange happenings and murder. Not only that, but there is something about her ability to siphon off other people's soul or energy that adds layers to the plot. Yikes!
As a first book in the series, this is fantastic. Between the suspense and paranormal personalities, this book is quite exciting and the series promises to be even more so.
Melanie Hensch has done a fabulous job capturing the energetic youthfulness of the characters in this book and off setting it against the elements of creepy. Her narration is easy to listen to and definitely draws the audience into the story!

Wow… just wow
I couldn’t stop listening, this book is beautiful, inspiring, creative, just delicious!
God. Those descriptions. I was desperate to kiss Hunter myself. The language, the pace, the style - they’re just perfect for me.
Even though the book has darker moments, I just found it soothing and melodic.
I’m in love, cannot wait for the next one!
Huge well done to the author and the narrator, who did an excellent job
