About this listen
- Do you experience an annoying beeping, whistling, and hissing in your ears?
- Do insomnia, dizziness, anxiety, or depression also trouble you?
Once you have been diagnosed with tinnitus, you will be wondering: What can I do about it? What will work for me?
These applications are based on the latest emerging knowledge from retraining therapy and use state-of-the-art audio processing to mask the effects of tinnitus.
The underlying principle is quite simple: The soundscapes (60 minutes each) effectively reduce the dominance of the tinnitus in the auditory system and in many cases also teach the brain to permanently suppress the disturbing noise. The tinnitus is masked and "blocked out" by the brain so it is no longer a disruption.
All you need is:
- Your smartphone, notebook or tablet,
- One of the six soundscapes in excellent audio quality, specially developed for tinnitus masking,
- High-quality stereo headphones: Be sure to use products with good sound reproduction.
This simple and highly effective method allows you to push the tinnitus into the background and counteract obsessive fixation on the noise. At the same time, you are reducing the stressful physical and psychological reaction to the tinnitus.
Contents: Short introduction (3 min.), followed by six certified soundscapes (60 minutes each), gently fading in at the beginning and fading out at the end. A totally safe and very effective method to acutely and permanently reduce the impact of tinnitus.

It helps.
Going through an episode of of low grade continual tinnitus . Not had tinnitus for decades, lots of big life changes may have led to this.
the sound therapy for me gives me a tool for periods of masking and thereby a relief from all the other effects of tinnitus.
Reading Tinnitus.org led me to look on Audible for this support.

Only thing that relieves my tinnitus
I have menieres and it’s the only thing that gives me relief from the whooshing and hissing that I encounter 24/7.

Instant relief
I suffer with very loud high pitched constant ringing tinnitus and this masked it really well. Could almost feel my blood pressure actively drop and body relax when turning it on! Really useful to have on in quiet environments. Will be interesting to see if long term use provides any benefits.

Give it a try...!
I was very sceptical about this after my tinnitus started a year ago due to severe anxiety.
I have been listening to this audio for 30 mins every night before sleep for the last 8 weeks...incredibly, the tinnitus has practically gone... I found it calming, to enable me to sleep. Thankyou to all those involved in producing it.
Highly recommended.

No explanation of how to use
The audio book has no explanation of how to use it to benefit you. I gather from other reviews you should listen to a track daily to help retrain your brain to ignore the tinnitus or for ad hoc respite the tinnitus is bad. This males sense as some types of tinnitus like mine originate from in the brain, not the ear.
I personally found most of the tracks offensive to my ears, causing discomfort. Only 2 tracks were OK but were not relaxing and calming.
I would not recommend this audible book, I don't think it helps in the longer term. As one offset helped to distract, but not pleasantly and I could not use it long term as just too offensive to my ears.
Distraction is the key to retraining the brain, far better value using music in the background and various rain or waterfall sounds to distract free on Alexa or Spotify (especially if get 3 months free).

Massively increased my tinnitus!
I just listened to track one for an hour. Now, my tinitus is insufferable, much louder than it has ever been before. Gutted and angry.

Not for low frequency tinnitus
The sounds were like an alarm on a phone and didn’t even mask the low frequency tinnitus :(
