About this listen

During an unacknowledged mission inside the Syrian border, a government operative had unwittingly triggered an incredible worldwide event that irrevocably shaped the future of the United States. In the aftermath of the crisis, families have struggled to survive in a world short on food, water, and electricity. Hyperinflation cripples the United States economy, and postwar armored military vehicles are patrolling the streets. One man has now stepped forward and continues to push back the dark wave of tyranny brought on by martial law in the streets of America and may be the only hope of saving liberty for the country's future.

Another JL Bourne classic

I loved this book. It's the sequel to Tomorrow war and continues a few months after where it left off. The story flows nicely and kept me listening for more, another easy listen! I love JL Bournes stories and felt fully immersed into it.

Superb sequel

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Brilliant post apocalyptic thriller with fantastic narration by the awesome Jay Snyder and Kevin T. Collins. It's gritty, tense, and brutal in places.

What other book might you compare Tomorrow War: Serpent Road to, and why?

Just as good.

Max redacted, but closure can be found.

J L, your writing is crisp, clear and concise. Jay seems to be your go to guy for narrator and that is all fine with me. I loved the story, the premise for the story and the outcome. Thanks Man! Another great plot and character driven ode that I just couldn`t finish quick enough. Your prose is like candy to me, please keep satisfying my sweet tooth. P.S any sign of that damn robo-dog? Surely to god as a retriever he can help the living in a zombie world? Then scratch his bugs off his system.

We already knew the end....

More like the future adventures of Our hero. A bit disappointed with this sequel as I was with the authors 3rd book on the zombie apocalypse. To techie, to predictable and to simplistic.

Sort of good

I loved JL Bourne ‘s zombie books and the first one in this series is good , but somehow this one wasn’t up to JL Bourne’s usual level. Lots of fairly boring detail, but some of the interaction scenes between characters were good. I will listen to book 3 when it comes out but this one is not the best.
