About this listen
Once you're in, there’s only one way out....
Tired of always doing the dirty work with little reward, Danny McKay wants out of the gangland life. But his boss, Freddie Smith, has other ideas....
As the current Top Dog of the East End, Freddie knows he must protect his reign at all costs, and if that means disposing of his much younger, much stronger, number two, then so be it.
Now, with a price on his head, Danny must use all of his wits and connections to stay one step ahead of Freddie - he knows his old boss won’t give up without a fight to the death.
But with a turf war looming, the question is who will survive and who will be crowned Top Dog.
Don't miss the exciting sequel to Under Dog by Kerry Kaya! Perfect for fans of Kimberley Chambers, Heather Atkinson and Caz Finlay.
Please note this is a re-release of Top Dog, previously published by Kerry Kaya.

loved it.
Listened to books 1 & 2 in a couple of days, very well paced story and easy to follow, and very realistic, There are some bits towards the end that involve child abuse which I found upsetting, but overall I really enjoyed both books, Looking forward to more from this author.

Great story
Gritty, funny, violent, but good east end humour, and also unpredictable
Thoroughly enjoyed this book

Just great
Anie Aldington, what a narrator. Great character roles. Don't usually do crime. 2nd in the series, just as good as the first. Can't wait to start the 3rd.

Grisly, violent but enjoyed it
Gripping storyline and fast paced. The characters are not particularly likable, most of them have a lot more muscle than brain cells. No lovable rogues here. There’s lots of swearing and disturbing violence and child abuse. With all that said, it’s a difficult book to put down because the storyline is exciting and the narrator is fantastic
