This was awesome to listen to. I loved that in each chapter the fe/male’s voices were done by the fe/male narrators and not like most audiobooks that use male for one chapter female for another. I also absolutely loved the background noises that were added to the chapters. It really made the book come alive.

After reading the book, i was interested in listening to the audible version. It was well worth it, with the smooth voices of the narrators and the surprising sound effects. Which had me jumping for my phone checking for messages or other bits.

The story itself was a good balance between a strong male "brooding" character and the female character who doesn't need a man to support her. The story overlaps into the world of the MacRaes, linking the other characters giving you a further peak into their lives after their stories have been completed.

Love it, a good listen.

This is so much more than an audiobook. As well as being duet narration there are many added sounds which bring the story to life so well! The narrators are also perfect for the two main characters, The grumpy bodyguard Ben and the smut loving sassy Daisy. I have previously read this book but highly recommend the audio. This is a fab book from Jolie Vines, and one of her spicier ones too.

So this book will slowly ease you into... Ha! Just kidding! From page one the action is fast paced and full of twists and turns. The steam is sensational... there's a scene that will really give you a whole new appreciation for 'working out'!

This book is more than just steam however, it has delightful cameos from long favourite characters, that wonderful sense of family that a Jolie Vines book always delivers, and so many relatable miscommunications and insecurities that you can really picture them as real people flaws and all.

Fabulous new series, and I cannot wait to see where it leads us. 5*

1st and foremost why was it an Irish Accent??? Great story love Jolie vines Scots stories but let down by the accents. being a Scot myself it just grates in the ears.

Loved this story! I originally read the print version. This however was another level. Really great touches having the dual narrators on each chapter instead of the one imitating the other per chapter. The special effect sounds added were really spectacular and added depth to the story making it a truly immersive experience.
