Er wird nach Athen geschickt, um die Forderungen eines Versicherten namens Witzel zu prüfen, dessen Schiff vor der Küste gesunken ist. Bernie findet heraus, dass das Schiff einst einem griechischen Juden gehörte, der nach Auschwitz deportiert wurde. Die Sache ist für ihn klar: ein Racheakt. Dann wird Witzel tot aufgefunden, hingerichtet mit zwei Schüssen in die Augen. Wer steckt dahinter?
