About this listen
Vitoria Miene lives in New York - on the opposite side of the country as her best friend. After careful thought, she decides to pack everything up and move to Seattle. There is only one problem with her plan - Wes Novak. He hates her and does everything in his power to make her miserable.
Wes has never detested anyone as much as he does Vitoria. He believes she is evil incarnate. If she wasn’t best friends with his brother’s fiancée, he’d never have to see her again. Unfortunately, he sees more of her than he wants to. So much so, he is starting to have trouble keeping his hands off her.
Wes and Tori fight every step of the way. They combust in each other’s arms as much as they bicker. Can they stop battling long enough to find the one thing they both want - love?

Enemies to lovers
I love me some enemies to lovers romance. This one had a good concept but the conversations were stilted and the verbage was on how conversations go. Also the descriptions were a bit much like "the floors were marble without any scuffs to be seen"
Lastly the misunderstandings were too much and the hero was a whiny baby.
Yeah it was all just difficult to listen to. Sorry, not sorry

great retorts
Story of Vitoria Miene and Wes Novak. Thei story started on the wrong foot. They were at each other's neck, There was some kind of mystery alluding to Vitoria did something bad causing someone close to Wes to suffer.I did like their unfriendly banter, both were witty and direct. They did try to behave for the sake of their love ones but unfortunately they cannot stop. All the while there was also tension and attraction underneath.
A modern, comedic love story. Enjoyed reading this story.

Far better then I expected. Enjoyable.
This book was fantastic. The author does an amazing job with the characters, making them come to life on each page. All the fire and animosity between Vitoria and Wes spill out in their steamy combustion in the bedroom. I love the story, it much better than I expected and as with the first book, the narration is perfect.
