About this listen
I would like to start off by first asking you a simple question: Can you remember the following details within 3 seconds or less?
- Where your wallet and keys are right now?
- Your best friend's cell phone number?
- What you did yesterday?
- Your parent's birthdates and wedding anniversary
- Your email account ID and password
These are just some of the information that would be stored in your mind as you go about living your daily life. In fact, the average person thinks about 12,000 thoughts per day. A deeper thinker puts forth 50,000 thoughts daily. Little wonder how things get lost in the shuffle.
A lot of people have the misconception that the brain has a limited capacity and ability to store a lifetime of information, and thus this deterioration of “storage space” is ultimately responsible for their inevitable forgetfulness.
Here’s the truth: In reality, your brain has unlimited potential and “storage space”. However, in order to make this a little more relatable, think of it in a more physical perspective. You can have all the storage space available in the world, but if you neglect to organize whatever you have, you’ll find that retrieving a particular item from tons and tons of disorganized material would be considerably difficult
You have the ability in you to retain a lifetime of memories and information, and never again forget the littlest (or the most important) things in life.
What's the secret? Introducing Unlock Your Photographic Memory. This book is replete with exercises, memory tricks, and memory aids that will make you proud and amaze teachers, family, and friends! It is helpful for anyone of all ages but essential for those who are getting older and fear memory loss.

Does not deliver what the title promises
The book starts with a copyright and disclaimer chapter, WHY? Why would you do that, I already payed for the book and now I have to listen to this. I was temped to stop listening right here and then but I pressed on. Then we get some random information how the brain works. Not really what I was hoping for but ok.
There is only one chapter with actual tips about how to remember things better, some of these were good and some were pretty bad. This chapter is the only reason I did not give the book a one star.
Another chapter give tips about food which can help you improve health and your brain, I see now why the disclaimer at the beginning because none of these are actually proven to be true. Then the next chapter tells you about things that will lower memory performance like alcohol, smoking, stress, etc. Sorry but why even bother with these.
The narration is painfully slow, I had to listen at at least 1.5 speed otherwise I would have stopped listening.
When you name your book "Unlock Your Photographic Memory" and give next to no way to actually even get close to that goal it makes me want to forget this book quickly. At least you succeeded in that by not unlocking my photographic memory.
