Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
A gripping crime novel featuring Alex Delware from the bestselling master of suspense.
When a photographer is found inside an LA warehouse slumped in bed, shot to death, it sets in motion a complex and dangerous case for Lieutenant Milo Sturgis and Psychologist Alex Delaware.
The victim had just received rave media attention for his latest project—images of homeless people living out their 'dreams'. But there were many who saw the work as crass exploitation.
Did anger turn to homicidal rage? Or do the roots of violence reach down to the victim's own family?
As new murders arise, Alex and Milo must peel back the layers of the case—and will find themselves coming up against in one of the deadliest threats they've ever faced...

Never disappoints
I’ve been reading Jonathan Kellerman for over 29 years and I still look forward to every new book. Milo and Alex are like old friends but each new plot is even more intriguing than the last. And the narrator is great too!

Always a great listen
I don’t know of by this point I’m extremely biased :-) but I really enjoy every single one of J Kellerman’s books in this series. I even got really nostalgic this time around (I’m getting old haha) and I want to listen to all the books from the beginning…
The story itself is good, unfolding as you go just as an investigation would and somehow entangling Alex up in it up till the very end. Can’t wait for the next one!

Not the enjoyable Alex and Milo story that I was anticipating
I normally thoroughly enjoy these books but this time found the story line uninspiring and not up to scratch.
