Summary
Vietnam Saga is a very personal story of Stan Corvin's often perilous times in the US Army as a two-tour combat helicopter pilot in Vietnam. It is a true-life story of soldiers who fought for freedom and often for their very lives.
Vietnam Saga is also a story about the meaning of life. Standing back from his war experience, Stan reflects on his ever-present faith and how it carried him through this challenging period of his life.
Originally written as a legacy to Stan Corvin's family - something that will be passed down for many generations - Vietnam Saga is now an opportunity for you to share in this legacy and the personal recollections, memories, thoughts, fears, and shed tears of a decorated and dedicated American soldier.

A fantastic memoir
I've read/listened to around 40 vietnam war memoirs and this is up there with the best.
A very well written and edited book that does a great job of detailing the authors experience in the war.
10/10

amazing book and totally riveting
this is the forth I've listened to recently and each book gives more and more of an insight into the lives and terror experienced. without doubt one of the very best books about a helicopter pilot in vietnam. no punches are pulled and its very straight talking, just how it needs to be! 100/100 !

An absolutely outstanding war memoir
An honest, action packed memoir giving me a new view point on the Vietnam conflict. packed with technical explanations, putting me at the controls of the nimble and lethal Loach and other helicopters. He writes honestly and conveys the incredibly dangerous and intense missions he was involved in, and his miraculous survival. The final chapters are extraordinary. The author has strong views which need to be taken in context. These don't detract from the fact that Stan Corbin is a very intelligent, reflective and respectful man. Thank you.
