Summary
A long-haired woman moves into the priest's house and sets fire to his furniture. That Christmas, the electricity goes out. A forester mortgages his land and goes off to a seaside town looking for a wife. He finds a woman eating alone in the hotel. A farmer wakes half-naked and realises the money is almost gone. I am probably not a short story reader, I tried this and it was ok, a bit sad and depressing but not one I shall remember

If Ireland 🇮🇪 has ur 💚this is ur golden ticket
I absolutely loved this book.. if I had searched “ Irish atmospheric books” I’m sure this would have been top of the list .. my spiritual home and heart is in ireland so this read (listen) these characters and the superb narrator’s whisked me right off and put me down in that exquisite place of my dreams .. love love love 💚💚💚💚💚💚 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

Meh
This is a compilation of eight short stories some of which are triggering which was not revealed in the brief description. Wish I had returned it.
