About this listen
Critic reviews
"In fine form here, Parker's sardonic Boston PI Spenser, last seen in Paper Dolls , encounters danger, venality and plenty of comic material in this brisk tale spanning the worlds of experimental theater and illegal immigration." ( Publishers Weekly)
"This is a tough, cleverly plotted novel in which each character's essence is revealed as Spenser sorts through the tangle of apparent motives." ( Booklist)
"An irresistible new crime novel that will captivate both longtime and soon-to-be-devoted Spenser lovers." ( Kirkus Reviews)

Any additional comments?
Solid thriller with entertaining twists and turns. I wanted to do a shout out for the narrator who does a fine job. Other reviewers not happy about how young his voice sounds, but he's a good narrator and tells the story well; one of the better narrators actually as others have no inflection or do too much over-the-top acting, or ridiculous/ high pitched women's voices and silly/ incomprehensible accents; solid performance for a solid story!Fun thriller
