Summary

When hard-up Diane Jenner's husband is injured in a helicopter crash, she discovers a secret that generates them money. James North knows that money doesn't buy happiness. He's always been there for his wayward wife and daughter - but that doesn't stop him wanting Diane. James and Diane always put family first - which means that what happened in the back of James's Mercedes is a really bad idea. Or is it?

Not bad...

I wasn't expecting much after the last review but love Sue Moorecroft, this book was enjoyable and I like how the author likes to touch on unusual subjects in her book (juvenile depression, alcholism) she makes the light while teaching you about how these illness effect the recipient. I enjoyed the few twists in the book too. The ending left me a little wanting but I like everything tied it a pretty bow (so it lost a star) but overall a good read :)

Enjoyed it!

Fab book, good narration, great plot twists, fab story line. Love that sue always brings In some thing deep to some of the characters, really enjoyed it.

A lovely....

storyline from start to finish with some great characters and antics within the book. The narrator was very good at using different voices for the characters.

A bit 'meh' characters, narrative and style

The blurb makes this book sound much more exciting than it is. The characters and their dialogue were often tedious or unbelievable, and I found myself cringing.

If you love soap operas and soppy dramas then maybe this is for you, but I ended up rushing through to get the next title in my library started.
