This book was gripping and is definitely good for children. It is set in the young mind of a evacuee and it is heartwarming, it made me laugh and cry.

I really enjoyed this and I really do hope that you would think about another story to continue on from this one. About how the war goes, if she stays with the old ladies, her father, Archie and Kevin and how their relationship builds. Thank you for an awesome read.

I loved this book so much.
I also loved how the person who was reading it made up voices for each character,
it really creates a picture in my head about who the characters are like, and what they sound like.
I have really enjoyed this book, and I'm looking forward to listening to another book from audible.
