This is a very entertaining short story set in the old west. I've never read about lumberjacks before and the glimpse this book offered was intriguing. Enough drama to keep things moving along. The narrator's voice was pleasant and clear.

The interaction between the characters are adorable and there's a light humor in the writing. Greatly enjoyed this book, will definitely revisit. The narration by Evan Schmitt is well done, and delivers the story wonderfully.
