About this listen
An opposites attract, marriage of convenience, hockey romance from USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Jenshak.
I’m going to marry her.
Are we dating? No.
Was she engaged to someone else yesterday? Yes.
It’s not real. It’s to save her job after her fiancé dumped her days before their wedding.
But it’s good press for me, which my agent will love.
I just signed a seven-year contract with the Wildcats, maybe my final one, and I have to start thinking about life after hockey.
Did I mention she’s my coach’s daughter’s best friend?
She’s driven, fun, and the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.
Too bad I’m not supposed to fall for my wife.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Heartfelt!
Rebecca Jenshak pens another winning novel set in her “Wildcat Hockey” series, each book in the series features a different member of the hockey team and stands on its own, but I highly recommend them all and the first two books are just as amazing and entertaining as this one. This is an opposites attract, marriage of convenience, sports romance, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Jade, a writer working on a featured article, an article featuring her wedding. The magazine is footing the bill for the wedding and the honeymoon, but when her fiancé gets cold feet, she finds herself in a bind. She has been working hard to make a name for herself in the industry and hoping this feature would give her the big break she needs. Declan’s teammate’s girl, who is also the coach’s daughter, is best friends with Jade, and Declan gets along well with her. After overhearing her fiancé had cold feet, it surprised him she was still having a bachelorette party, a party he and his teammates crashed. The two wind up hanging out together and she tells him about her dilemma and how her job depends on this article and he tells her he would marry her. This surprised her, but after her fiancé ends things, she takes him up on his offer. OMG, I absolutely loved Declan, and the chemistry between these two was electric and they could only deny each other for so long. The wedding goes off without a hitch, and then there is the wedding night and the honeymoon to follow and once the honeymoon is over, the real challenges begin, not that there weren’t any challenges while on their honeymoon. Declan was just amazing, but Jade needed to get over her insecurities and see what was right in front of her and focus on herself and not just her job. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a wonderfully written and plotted story with a perfect balance of drama, charm, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Rebecca Jenshak, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Rebecca Jenshak always casts the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais did a wonderful job portraying these characters, and did so with a complete understanding of who they were, gave each a voice that suited each one and was believable in every role they played. Bloom grasped every side of Jade’s personality, from her determination to succeed to her vulnerabilities and insecurities. Crais played the perfect swoon worthy Declan, as the pleasing and caring soul that he was. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone of the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Wild about Declan!
Yes! Wild Ever After had such a little twist on the marriage of convenience trope and I was all in!
Rebecca is doing everything she can to make me fall in love with every single one of these Wildcats.
Jade, a wedding magazine journalist is writing all about her upcoming wedding – The talk of the town type of wedding until her soon to be husband wants to be soon to be single. Jade being frustrating independent at times decides the wedding is still on.
Declan, Wildcat own burly loner ( Due to a miscommunication with a previous hookup) has always thought very highly of Jade. When he sees Jade has a problem he can fix that would help him as well, he takes the leap with her.
This book is adorable, swoony, I smiled so big so many times, I laughed at the antics. It was just all around a very low angst sweet story.
CJ Bloom and Connor Crais narrate this wild ride and I couldn’t have asked for a better pairing. CJ was perfect for Jade – She gave us all of Jades’ strength, resilience and lets not forget that somewhat frustratingly independence. CJ showed us just how vulnerable even the toughest chicks can be.
Connor’s performance as Declan was just perfection. Connor’s strong calm demeanor was very apparent in this story. Connor was so swoon worthy as the “he fell for her first!” heart stealing hockey player.
Another fantastic performance from there two.
Can’t wait to see what’s next for our Wildcats!

Wonderful story and narration
As a huge fan on the series, I was excited to read Declan and Jade’s story. And it did not disappoint. To be honest, I couldn’t make up my mind about whether this was a 4 or 5 star book. One one hand, Declan is amazing. Seriously, top 10 heroes. What a sweetheart. jade had me annoyed a bit too much of the time because she seemed so focus on putting herself first, in part because of her past but it was so aggravating when Declan was so amazing. But overall, the romance was great, lots of steam, the supporting cast was fantastic, especially because we get to see our old friends and the world continues to be a favorite. What a fun, long angst story.
And I got to listen to the audiobook, narrated by CJ Bloom and Connor Crais. Perfectly cast, this was truly a wonderful auditory experience for such a fun story.

Loved it
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱? Because he was dreamy! Omg why haven't I read this series sooner! It was a beautiful mix of my love for hockey romance and marriage of convenience. I loved how the story played out especially with the He Falls First vibes. Declan.... what can I say except where do I find me one of those?! He was just the perfect package. Quiet at first but steps up when needed without hesitation. He didn't even have to think about helping Jade he was just there when she needed him. It was great to see the relationship develop from what started as a total farce to something real. Jade really came into her own power towards the end. I'm glad she finally realised her worth. I listened to the audio and Connor Crais and CJ Bloom did a fantastic job at portraying Jade and Declan. They both made for very easy listening and I will definitely look out for audios narrated by them in the future. I need to go back and read the previous books now I can't get enough of this series.

Ahhh, Declan!
Those nights I can't sleep, I listen to books. This was my choice last night. I knew it was going to be a good one, and I love falling into the story when it's quiet in the house, no interruptions and letting me truly enjoy. Enjoy is exactly what I did! Jade is on a mission with her career, and getting married was an added bonus. Too bad her fiance didn't see it that way! Now days away from the nuptials, she finds herself in need of a groom. Declan has been watching his teammates find their true loves. He sees Jade for who she is and volunteers to help her out. What will happen next? You will have to listen to find out. Rebecca Jenshak writes the best sports romances, and this series is one of my favorites. Bringing in characters we know and love, keep a feeling of family. Laughing, tearing up and enjoying the journey of Declan and Jade gave me a great night of listening.
Connor Crais and CJ Bloom are fantastic narrators . Creating Declan and Jade's characters are spot on! Crais has his warmth and love in his voice with Declan. I love when he gets frustrated, all the emotion comes through. Bloom is perfect as Jade. Jade is little over the top at times, and Bloom keeps her drive in tact but brings her back to what's really important just with a few inflections in her voice. Loved this team!

I loved it!
This is the third book in the Wildcat Hockey Series, a Sports Romance. I read it and loved it! The audiobook version is perfect! Jade and Declan's fake relationship, and slow burn romance, is so sweet, funny, passionate, and heartwarming. Declan is very handsome, and supportive. Jade is beautiful, kind, and determined. The supporting characters are amazing. I loved to see again the characters from the first book in the series. CJ Bloom and Connor Crais did an excellent job bringing this story to life. The are perfect as Jade and Declan. I enjoyed it! I highly recommend this series.

Wild Ever After
Back with the Wildcats!
OMG I love Declans and Jades story!
I like Declans character much more, but their story all together is just swoony and great.
I would take Declan in a heartbeat and wouldn't be that complicated like Jade.

Worth the read!
Hockey romances are one of my favorites, and this one certainly didn't disappoint! Jade and Declan are just... ugh! I can't get enough of these two. They start in such a bizarre way, but even in that, I found myself quickly softening to Declan and how sweet he is. I couldn't really connect with Jade when it came to her career ambitions, but I could with her need to be self-sufficient and to want that real, genuine love. This story is a ride of ups and downs, but it's all so worth it in the end!
Connor Crais and CJ Bloom did an amazing job bringing these two to life for the audiobook. Highly recommend!

Declan & Jade
Wild Ever after was my first Rebecca Jenshak book and I’m now a fan. Can’t wait to listen or read other books by this author.
Declan and Jade get married last minute as a way of getting Jade out of a sticky situation at work and it was great to listen how they fell in love and navigated the marriage issues at their own pace. Both were jaded by life but never gave up on each other.
CJ Bloom and Connor Crais were amazing narrating Jade and Declan’s POV.
