About this listen
On a continent ruled by three empires, some are born with a "witchery", a magical skill that sets them apart from others.
In this follow-up to New York Times best-selling Truthwitch, a shadow man haunts the Nubrevnan streets, leaving corpses in his wake - and then raising those corpses from the dead. Windwitch continues the tale of Merik - cunning privateer, prince, and windwitch.

I reread the first one and actually really liked it this time so much that I read the second in the series (this one) straight away! The story was a good one that gripped me at parts and I enjoyed reading. The plot is a bit less predictable than the first one, but seems to drag even with the fast pace. I also came up with the same problem as the first book….. I really liked the book and story…. But I was struggling to understand and follow it. Maybe it's the writing style or my dyslexia but I had to read it twice to understand and really like it.
I would give it a try if you liked the first one and I can see its the ‘development of the characters’ book in the series but it didn't leave me needing to read Bloodwitch instantly.
Great story
