Classic stories told authentically
Really enjoyed this. All the classic tales told true to their original, not as Disney sugarcoats and manipulates them. Very good narration too, told with real feeling. I’ll be listening again for sure.

Would not recommend for a calming bedtime experience!
I love the concept of this book. There’s a lovely collection of stories included. But the narration is incredibly fast - I wonder if there was a time constraint to the recording as it is as if the narrator was in an awful rush. I personally do not find the tone and intonation of the reading particularly endearing either. These stories need a softer, slower, more soporific approach to their narration.
