About this listen
In a world without, hunger may be as deadly as zombies.
With their Safe Zone overrun by the undead, taking refuge in the mountains seems like the safest bet for Rose, Tom, and the other survivors. There's one catch, however—between last spring's human exodus and a neighboring group's stockpiles, there's no food left to scavenge.
They know to be wary of people and zombies, but a new adversary proves itself just as relentless—hunger. Supplies are slim in the wilderness, and living off the land is easier said than done. As winter sets in, and their food dwindles to nothing, they discover how far they'll go to save the ones they love.

Enjoyable
I did enjoy this book and have been patiently waiting for it to arrive , it definitely did not grip me the same as the previous books in this world . I take my hat off to the author with the amount of research that must have gone into this book but found the lack of action quite noticible but then we have more books to come so there is time . I will be buying the next in the series when it is out .
The narration was outstanding as with the previous books and I was very pleased to find the same narrators were present . 5* to the narrators and to Sarah Lyons Flemming for yet again a brilliant and interesting novel .

The relationships and morals
Loved these books, the building of friendships, making you think what is really important in life if we were to lose all the material things

Enjoyable
A lot of research must of gone into this book, it wasn’t as action packed as previous ones, but still enjoyable. Narrators have all done a brilliant job.

Zombie novel with a heart
I loved that thr series centred around relationships and people rather than just about the killing of zombies

Great story as ever
This was a good continuation of the Cascadia series, which focused on a particular aspect of their situation and how people are driven to do things which are out of character when they’re desperate.
SLF has such an excellent way with words, so much better than me!!! the way she builds the characters is, in my opinion, better than any other writer I’ve come across.
All the main characters are so well developed I truly believe that they could be real people and she understands people so well.
I think these books are so much more than just about the Zombie Apocalypse, they’re about human interactions, how people react in pressured uncertain circumstances, but how after all the awful things that happen, the characters can find the good in their situations.
All of SLFs series have been my escape for so long now, I’ll be heartbroken when they come to an end, but I’m looking forward to World Undone. Thank you SLF, I love your books ‘til the end of the world & after!!
