Quite twee but enjoyable listening. Ms Matthews seems to find characters with very weak wills and easy to abandon their principles, then again that’s probably the charms of her stories

I'm glad Anne got what she wanted out of life and Nick finally got what he'd been hoping for in his life. I love getting books that you can get your teeth into and this was certainly one of those for me. I ended up having a late night listening to this as I just had to know what happens lol.

I found this book slow to start with and contemplated returning it however I soon got in to it and I would HIGHLY recommend it. Yes it starts slow but it gets better and better. Really enjoyed it

It took a long time to feel that I was following the story and often relistened to sections as it wasn’t very clear. I like the story line, however, seriously all these events happened in just over one week?? and then they didn’t see each other for 9 months. I think if the events of the week had been spread over a couple of months it would of been more believable. Also an epilogue would have been good. Enjoyed narrator.
