Summary
Charlie Boxer messed up his family life. First the army, then the police, then high-stakes kidnap and recovery, his ex-wife and daughter learnt to live without him as his work took him places no man can come back from unscarred. Unusual storyline, cheesy ending
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Only if they were really stuck for something to read. I found myself quite absorbed in the book at some points, but quite bored by it at others.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The fact that the main character gets "killed off" at the very beginning. The character "Mercy" really annoyed me, she was not real enough.
Which character – as performed by Steven Pacey – was your favourite?
Amy's father seemed the most plausible and easiest to relate to.
Could you see You Will Never Find Me being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?
I don't think the subject matter (racist drug dealer) or the violence would get through the censor's panel, so no, I don't think it would be made into a film.
Any additional comments?
The plot was interesting, the construction of the story was reasonable, but the cheesy ending spoiled it for me - ditch the last chapter.

I hoped that this was going to be an engaging thriller but instead it seemed as if the writer -just like me - got fed up with it two thirds of the way through and couldn't wait to get to the end.

Captivating story from a dramatic start

Worth a listen. It passes the time and I wanted to know how it ended.

Even better than the first book in the series
Because of the mixed reviews, I thought I was taking a bit of a chance on this 2nd Boxer tale. All I can say is that it was a chance well taken, because I think this is even better than the original story. It is hard to highlight specific aspects without giving away the plot - but the way in which Amy leaves home will be absolutely chilling for any parent (particularly anyone dealing with a headstrong teenager). The two storylines are cleverly interwoven through Mercy who needs to work to survive her personal crisis - and there is a massive twist in the tale that I certainly hadn't seen coming. Core family characters are building nicely and peripheral ones - important to this plot - are well drawn and incredibly well presented by Steven Pacey. My only qualms are - do ruthless gangsters really know when violence goes too far - and whilst I adored the end chapter (as I am a great whooz) was it right ending. Buy and enjoy, I am now going to explore what else the author has done.

Brilliant
Totally loved this. The intrigue. The twists. The cleverly plotted connections and how everything tied together in the end. The narration was faultless too.

Great narration - makes the book
I really do love listening to Steven Pacey - he really brings a book to life!
Bit far fetched in places but that didn't put me off - I still really enjoyed the story and will listen to more - I am enjoying the whole series.

WOW!!!! Couldn't put it down!
What a page turner!!! I organised myself so that I could listen to the end all in one go - it was so exciting.
Can't wait to read another book by the author! - read by The Master: Steven Pacey, of course!

You will never find me -good read
After reading the first book in the series I wasn't going to read anymore of this series, but because this book was deal of the day £2.99 I thought why not and I'm glad I did.
I enjoyed book lots of twist @ turns, some expected & some not

Exciting thriller verging on implausible
This is an exciting thriller set in London and Madrid and the second outing for kidnap consultant Charles Boxer and his ex-wife, police officer Mercy. The plotting is intricate and multilayered but in parts somewhat implausible.
I have read a number of Robert Wilson's books and really enjoyed them. This is good , but it doesn't have quite the impact of the Javier Falcón series, in my opinion. Still, Robert Wilson and not quite his best is still produces an engrossing, well crafted and exciting gripping read.

Wonderful
Both the Story and the Narration are superb.
A great combination. Can't wait to start the last book by Robert Wilson narrated by Steven Pacey.
