We are halfway through listening to this book. It has been well worth our time because it has opened our eyes to the sinful ways in how we treat each other. For the Christian, the first several chapters are a review or a general rehash of other marriage books on the market today. From Chapter 10 on, however, this is where your faith and how you treat one another is put to the test. I highly recommend pressing through the first several chapters and use them as a reinforcement or refresher on prior marriage content or conferences you may have read/attended.

For the newly married couples, this book is for you. It details how to not be selfish in your relationship, how to fear God while also submitting (for the wives), removing your selfish ways (for the husband) which distract you from properly loving your wife and spiritually feeding her. Spouses are called to love and respect. This book outlines ways in which we can do that.

The reader is the author. It is somewhat monotone but, look past that and use this audiobook for the content. It's not meant to be a gripping thriller but an audiobook to put your faith and marriage under a microscope.

Scott LaPierre has done an amazing job by doing Your Marriage God's Way as an audio book, this is an absolute must read if you want to be successful in doing marriage right, the way God intended. I can say that although I am currently not married, I can't wait to put what I've learnt in action and being able to listen to it instead of having to read it made it soak in even more for me. I really loved the book. It's based on biblical truths and also shows a lot of practical applications. The audio was good quality, it was easy to understand even when accelerated. I will definitely listen the workbook too.
