  • Ep.63 - One Year On: Palestine and the Complicity of Neutrality
    Oct 15 2024

    Send us a text

Ben and Adam reflect on a year of faith leaders' moral failure in response to Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people as well as a much better response from liberation theologian, Sarojini Nadar. They also talk about Saint of the Week, St. John Chrysostom. That's right, an actual official saint for Saint of the Week! And what's up with sports journalists covering for athletes who have committed horrific crimes? Ben helps us think through some ongoing cases in Mingrapes.

    Joint letter from faith leaders
    Sarojini Nadar's reflection

  • Ep.62 - Democracy as Ideology
    Oct 4 2024

    Send us a text

How is democracy used ideologically? Is it even the best way to structure society? Are there alternatives? Jonny and Adam try to get to the bottom of it and along the way run into dogs painted to look like pandas, the resurrection of a long-lost biblical tree, and the first (and possibly only!) TORY Saint of the Week!

Not just for the religious!

I mean maybe it helps to be Christian, but I hit two out of the three areas (UK Leftie) and I'm nosey enough to be interested in a Christian skew on things! An easy, interesting, enjoyable listen!
