  • MURDERED: Jennifer Farber Dulos
    Jun 16 2025

    When Jennifer Farber Dulos vanished after dropping her five children off at school in New Canaan, Connecticut, on May 24, 2019, all eyes were on her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos. And when investigators found surveillance footage showing Fotis suspiciously stopping at multiple trash cans in a nearby city and throwing things just hours after she disappeared, a massive hunt for evidence kicked off, and a conspiracy involving at least two other people began to unfold. Six years later, one suspect is dead, one is in prison, and one is awaiting trial… But what exactly happened to Jennifer, and where her body is, remains a mystery.

    UPDATE: On Friday, June 13, 2025, the conspiracy to commit murder charge against Kent Mawhinney was dropped in the case of Jennifer Farber Dulos’s death. He has instead pleaded guilty to lesser charges. For more details, head to the Crime Junkie Fan Club!

But it wasn’t all drag queens and rainbows in the City by the Bay, and when the bodies of gay men started turning up one after another, fear spread like wildfire, and it got harder and harder to distinguish rumor from fact.
