    Before 2017, tonight’s guest, Dave, had spent countless hours in the woods and around them. Due to all the he’d spent in them, he was convinced that he knew about everything and anything he could expect to encounter. One evening, however, he came to realize just how wrong he was about that. Before 2017, Dave would have believed in the existence of a lot of things, but Dogmen weren’t on the list. That night, in 2017, when he had his first encounter with one, he realized that they should be on it.     Almost one year ago, to the day, tonight’s guest had an encounter that she’s, just now, coming to terms with. You see, when she had her first encounter, she saw the Dogman. It was less than 30 feet from her when she laid eyes on it. Needless to say, she didn’t waste any time getting away from it. What happened moments later, after she thought the two of them had gone their separate ways, however, was more traumatizing to her than when she had seen it at such a close distance, moments before.
