Yamini Madhaven is an Internal Medicine Physician at Sutter Health in Palo Alto, California (in the Bay Area). She has been a practicing physician for over 17 years, and recently became Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine within the past 2 years.

Lucas Tvrdik is a Police Detective in the South San Francisco Police Department (SSPD). He holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and speaks multiple languages thanks to being raised partly in Norway and Switzerland.

During the EPIC -Day Yosemite Expedition, Lucas earned the nicknames "The Planner" and "Mr. Efficient". In speaking about the experience, Lucas said "I wanted to be with a group of people doing tough things".
