About this listen

[Contains explicit content] What are the consequences of children’s unlimited access to free, easily accessible porn? Meet a mom who thinks 13 is too young to tell her daughter what she does for a living – until her daughter makes a discovery online. Then, Jon travels to Oklahoma, where one young man’s relationship to PornHub lands him in a veritable purgatory with few options for moving ahead.©2017 Audible Originals, LLC (P)2017 Audible Originals, LLC

Was introduced to Jon Ronson through listening to Louis Theroux’s lockdown interviews (not sure if he’d love that or hate it) I’ve downloaded such a lot of his stuff over the last few months while I’ve been ill and at home a lot. I love the way he looks at things and speaks as he finds, always looking at subjects in a more unusual, honest, way. He exudes warmth and insecurity which is so refreshing if you compare him to the usual over educated, self aggrandising journo. He really brings these wonderful, imperfect and complicated people to life and it is impossible not to like them and feel incredible empathy for some of them and that is down to his genuine warmth and honesty. He could write about absolutely anything and I just know I’ll love it.
Can’t get enough, recommend thoroughly. Still love Theroux but Ronson is refreshingly different.

Love listening to Ronson
