I realise that I am pursuing transient happiness just by listening to Derren Brown. Is this wrong? To be honest, he could be reading out a 1980s phone directory and I’d be hooked.

But there’s a lot of fascinating philosophy, practical suggestion and whimsical thinking which is worth the listen even if you’re not hung up on DB’s curious and witty delivery. Very nicely produced and soundscaped, too. A Boot Camp for Surviving 2022 next, please… :)

A really great take on the subject with interesting insight but some of Darren‘s fun tongue-and-cheek throughout as well. Easy and insightful listening.

Although aware of Derren Brown, I am not a follower as such.
I would not have used my credit on this normally, but I really enjoyed it. I have always been inclined towards stoicism without necessarily knowing enough about it. My interest has now been well and truly piqued, so off to look up the works of William Irvine.

Great to hear MR Brown outside of his day job, well put together, quite sad when I’d come to the end. Funny as well as informative, a refreshing listen outside the, shall we say hippie slant.
