Absolutely Brilliant
So well read and acted. A little too slow, but nothing 1.45x didn’t fix. It gets quite uncomfortable for me half-way through though, a bit too realistic haha.

Absolutely sublime
The original Harry potter was very written as a child's series that got darker at the end.
This retelling is aimed at an older audience where character growth is more substantial, people (well some) are more rational and so many of those moments in the original series where you want to yell at the book are just rewritten.

Highly entertaining, very well performed
I know, there is another narration already. But who cares?! This is awesome.
I love the story even though I'm not a "fan fiction" fan. The narration is absolutely amazing. Love the accent, the character voices and the effort put into it. After all, it's free!! How much effort would you put into a free project?! ;)

Solution 001
My solution relies on the details behind this statement: "Your power over life eaters must be comprehended for oneself, or so you say."
Wasn't this what Harry said to avoid revealing that power to Dumbledore or Quirrell, when he didn't know how much he could trust them? The excuse / partial reason for this reticence was Quirrell's own instruction to Harry, to be wary about who he reveals generally unknown magical powers to. But he could, in fact, choose to train Voldemort to have power over dementors if he wished.
And doing so would not be trivial. To be sure of successfully passing on the skill, simply describing his technique once, in English (let alone Parseltongue) would not be sufficient. The ideal situation would involve at least one actual training session, with feedback from Harry where necessary.
So Harry can honestly explain this situation, in Parseltongue. Without lying, he can cleverly word his statements, to minimise the chance that Voldemort will insist on Harry merely trying to pass on the knowledge verbally, as opposed to having a training session. And thus, some time is bought, and Harry avoids immediate death*. QED
In the meantime, while Harry is speaking, he gradually lowers his wand until it touches his knee, and transfigures some of the bacteria & viruses on his skin to become dangerous in ways he has read about in biology textbooks. Like Covid, they are much more dangerous to old people than to children. When they replicate, the transfigured bacteria/viruses will create REAL copies of themselves, so the extent of transfiguration effort needed is minimal. As soon as the opportunity arises, he uses a Second Year enchantment to maintain control of these real micro-organisms, to ensure they don't incapacitate him or anyone else until exactly such time as he desires.
* And even if Voldemort insists, then at the very least English would be needed for any attempted verbal explanation - not Parseltongue. And Voldemort doesn't want the secret to be revealed to his Death Eaters. So again, that buys Harry time & opportunities.

Well read, very cleverly written
The best Harry a potter fanfic online, and read really nicely. The reader’s cadence really grew on me.

Compelling retelling
I'm addicted to this version of a favourite story. An intelligent analysis of every plot flaw and unexplained convenience. I love Harry Potter even more now.
