  • Li Chi Slays The Serpent (Rerecorded)
    Jan 25 2025

    Send us a text

This week's story comes with a content warning:
Li Chi Slays The Serpent is a very old Chinese story, from a time when women in China were not considered equal to men, and sons were favoured over daughters.
While societal norms have thankfully changed, I wanted to be as faithful to the original story as I could, and so have not edited it here.

LI Chi Slays The Serpent is a tale of courage and cunning in the face of great danger, and how sometimes, courage and cunning are found in the most unlikely place

*Note: This is a rerecording, as the original had many flaws in the audio.
    I believe they've been fixed

  • A Tale of The Baba Yaga
    Jan 20 2025

    Send us a text

The Baba Yaga is a mainstay of Slavic folklore. Occasionally portrayed as benevolent, she is however, most often evil, sly, and conniving. She seeks to ensnare wary travelers into being slave labour, or into the cooking pot. It takes, bravery, cunning, intelligence, and more than a little luck to thwart her.
