  • For nearly a decade, suspected lawbreakers have been prosecuted under the Single Justice procedure, which was brought in to speed up verdicts on “lower-level” crimes.

    But, a joint investigation between ITV News and the Evening Standard has revealed that this has meant people have been wrongly prosecuted.
