• Antonio Brown charged with attempted murder! Pacers force game 7! We visit Oak City Hemp in Durham.
    Jun 23 2025

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is entangled in a serious legal battle following a shooting incident in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood on May 16. According to an arrest warrant issued on June 11, Brown faces charges of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm, stemming from an altercation outside a celebrity boxing event hosted by streamer Adin Ross, The Associated Press reports.

The warrant, signed by Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Ariel Rodriguez, alleges that Brown, 36, punched a man, seized a security officer’s handgun, and fired two shots, one grazing the victim’s neck, as reported by Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu. Brown was briefly detained by police on May 17 but released after providing his account.

It was a game to forget for the Oklahoma City Thunder, who came into Thursday’s Game 6 needing one more win to bring home the Larry O’Brien trophy to middle America.
The Indiana Pacers played like a team with everything to lose after a blow out 108-91 win at an electric Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to force a Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

The Indiana home faithful, in their last time seeing the team in person this season, were treated to a masterful performance.

Obi Toppin led the way with 20 points off the bench with Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton adding 17 and 14 points respectively.

Haliburton was questionable to play in the lead up to the game with a calf strain but looked like a man on the mission all game. And to make matters better for the hobbled star, he only had to play 23 minutes heading into Sunday’s decisive Game 7 in Oklahoma City.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges that include racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. If convicted on all counts, he could face up to life in prison.
The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs wrapped up its second week on Thursday in Manhattan federal court, where rapper Kid Cudi testified about his relationship with Combs's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the sex trafficking case.

Federal prosecutors say that for decades, Combs abused, threatened and coerced women to participate in marathon sexual encounters called "freak offs" and used his business empire, along with guns, kidnapping and arson, to conceal his crimes. The 55-year-old hip-hop mogul has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he could face life in prison. He is being held without bail in a Brooklyn jail. A jury of 12 New Yorkers and six alternates will decide his fate. The trial is expected to last at least eight weeks.

Court will not be in session on Friday. Testimony will resume on Tuesday, May 27, since Monday is Memorial Day.

Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars in 2022. Lanez was convicted after testimony from Megan Thee Stallion, her friend Kelsey Harris and DNA evidence that prosecutors said linked him to the weapon.

According to documents reviewed by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., Harris’ bodyguard, Bradley James, came forward stating that Harris confessed to being the one who fired the gun that night in the air three times. Lanez then pushed her hand down to deescalate the situation, causing two more gunshots to go off.

Lanez’s team claims the camera footage released corroborates the bodyguard’s testimony.

The guard claims he overheard Harris saying to her boyfriend, “How can I not tell on myself?” and “How am I protected if I tell certain things?”

  • Shannon Sharpe Facing Lawsuit, Shedeur Sanders falls in the draft, special guest Ray Hagins “BamaGotJokes” joins the show
    May 9 2025

Sharpe is accused of becoming increasingly verbally abusive, controlling and violent over time, once threatening to kill her and recording their sexual encounters without consent, according to the complaint.

Sharpe said Thursday he is stepping away temporarily from his ESPN duties while he deals with what he called false allegations in the lawsuit.

Sharpe said in a statement that he would return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason. The first preseason game is set for July 31.

Shedeur Sanders, a quarterback once projected as a top-ten pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, experienced a significant fall, landing in the fifth round with the Cleveland Browns at pick #144. Several factors contributed to his slide, including concerns about his off-field approach, perceived lack of preparation during interviews, and a possible perception of him as more of a backup than a starting quarterback. social Media star Ray Hagans better known as BamaGotJokes on social media joins us this week on The Magic Mally Mal Show!
